Bedroom To En-suite Conversion

This project involved reconfiguring a ground-floor bedroom layout to eliminate an awkward, boxed-in hallway that previously connected the living room, bedroom and bathroom. The enclosed corridor occupied valuable space and disrupted the natural flow of the room.

We completely removed the hallway structure and rebuilt the wall to create a clean, flush line within the bedroom. A new opening was formed to allow direct access to the bathroom from the bedroom, using a sliding pocket door integrated within the wall. This solution removed the need for a separate corridor while preserving privacy and maximising usable floor area.

By simplifying the layout through careful demolition and restructuring, the bedroom was transformed into a more open, practical and cohesive space, achieved without altering the bathroom itself.
